Final film complete!!

This is the finished and completed film. Overall I am very pleased with the work that I have created as I have stuck closely to the proposal I created at the beginning of the project and I feel I have also improved in areas such as modelling, texturing and rendering.

Here's the finished film:

Second attempt at camera panning:

This is my second attempt at improving the camera panning within my scene. I rendered out the scene this time round as I thought it would speed up the process as I would have a clearer idea of what it would look like in the end. this time I have added a dissolve to the beginning and the end to help neaten up the films so that it has a clear start and finish. there are only  few sections that I feel need slowing down slightly as some sections are still slightly fast.

initial attempt of camera panning:

This is the result of my first try of how and where I want the camera to pan within my scene as I proposed earlier on my map. My main problem that I encountered was working out the different speeds that the camera would have to go at in different sections of the scene. I discovered that I couldn't have the camera moving at the same speed around the whole scene it seemed too slow and made it seem unappealing to watch. the solution that I came to was to pinpoint the sections of my set that I thought looked the best and were the most important and slow the camera on those sections and have it slightly sped up within the other sections. I also think that when I come to rendering and editing my software in the final stages, the music that I use will help to work out the pace that the camera will move at.

all bulidings now within rendered scene:

I have now put all my buildings within the scene when its lit and rendered. I am soo pleased with how it all looks and the general tone and design of my work.

statue is now textured:

this is the finished look of my statue. I think that it fits successfully to the design that I decided upon in my earlier design of an aged weathered look.

All bulidings textured:

These are the finished results of all the buildings and props that I have modelled earlier now that they have all been textured. I am extremely happy with the result as I feel that they not only fit to aged grunge effect that I was going for, they also portray a realistic representation of how Victorian London looked. my next step will be to composite them within one scene so that they matched up to the design of the map I created earlier.
